DIGNITY IN LATER LIFE
PRAMA FOUNDATION
Prama Foundation leads a group of Health and Social Care charities and companies in the South of the U.K. We are also involved in supporting the Human Rights of Older People and Age Friendly Communities locally, nationally and internationally.
Our vision is to see;
"a world where no-one is unfairly disadvantaged or excluded because of age or infirmity and where every person can enjoy life as they age"
An inclusive Christian UK Charity, raising awareness, tackling issues and promoting initiatives to help those who need it most.

PramaLife
Communities for all ages
Helping people to "age well" we run 30,000 sessions of chat, fun and activity every year.
Ageing is something that everyone does. We want it to be an enjoyable experience, where people retain their independence, self-worth and dignity.
In achieving this all of our work is influenced by local older people and carers and then delivered and monitored with their involvement.
We currently focus on Bournemouth, Christchurch, East Dorset and Poole offering a wide range of activities and services which look to directly tackle social isolation and lead to increased personal independence, self-sufficiency and dignity.
Activities include:
-
Personal Home Care
-
Dementia and age friendly clubs,
-
Carers’ befriending and support groups,
-
Local community activities
-
Inter-generational activities
Some of our clubs focus on specific hobbies like gardening, sporting memories or keep fit, some support those living with dementia, others simply a space where people can talk over a coffee.
During 2018/19 we supported 16,635 people, achieving significant outcomes for them.
